Moscow publishing house will release a book of the Ulyanovsk poet

In Moscow region, the well-known workshops of the Moscow Writers Union came to a close while following its results “Voymega”, a famous publishing house, will release books of various poets from different cities. One of the “Voymega”- selected manuscripts was a poetry book by Danila Nozdryakov, a poet from Ulyanovsk.

The Moscow Writers Union held its workshops for the 19th time. This year, the competition applicants were 404 authors from Russia, near – and far abroad countries. Authors under 35 years old, selected by experts, went on a master-class course under prominent writers, playwrights, and poets. Danila Nozdryakov, poet, prose writer and philosopher from Ulyanovsk, became a participant of the poetical workshop. According to Aleksandr Pereverzin, one of the master-class supervisors, editor of the “Voymega” publishing house, at the close of the workshop, the publishing house would release six collections of poems, including Danila Nozdryakov’s book “The Children’s Republic of Volga Region”.

- “It is an original poetical study of coming-of-age at the turn of the century. A part of the stories happened to the author, while another part – to his acquaintances. The book is as personal as it can be regarded as an attempt to create a general portrait of the generation. If speaking in terms of the time of writing, then a good deal of the texts dates from 2018 – 2019s”, - Danila Nozdryakov told the office of the “Ulyanovsk UNESCO Literary City” program.

To recap, Igor Ulitin, an author from Ulyanovsk was also supposed to take part in the prose workshop although he was unable to attend the masterclasses. In prior years, Vyacheslav Savin and Gala Uzryutova, authors from Ulyanovsk, became participants of workshops of the Moscow Writers Union.
